Focus ligt op Techno, Minimal, Electronica, Glitch en IDM. Experimentele electroakoestische muziek,  field recording, sound art, synthpop, computer music en cross-over worden, met enkele uitzonderingen, grotendeels buiten beschouwing gelaten. Van elke act/artiest wordt met enkele uitzonderingen 1 release genoemd, waar in veel gevallen meerdere albums even goed zijn. Maar je moet kiezen. Veel goede releases zijn helaas buiten de boot gevallen. Buiten de Top-10 is de volgorde arbitrair. Alles in eigen bezit op CD en/of LP.
